Recover or Reuse Temp Mail — How to Access an Old Inbox Again

June 6, 2026

Can You Recover a Temp Mail Inbox?

Recovering a standard session-based temp mail inbox after the session expires is not possible. When the browser tab closes or the session times out, the inbox container is deleted from the server. The address stops accepting mail and the previous emails are gone. There is no account to log back into, no server-side archive to retrieve.

This is by design. The value of temp mail is non-persistence. The same mechanism that makes temp mail private also makes it unrecoverable once expired.

The Password Method: Recover Before You Lose Access

The only way to make a temp mail inbox recoverable is to set it up with a password before the session ends. A password-protected inbox on TempMail.pk is not session-dependent. It persists on the server for as long as the service retains password-protected inboxes — which is typically measured in days to weeks, not hours.

To protect a current temp mail inbox with a password:

  1. While the session is still active, find the password or settings option in TempMail.pk's interface.

  2. Enter a password for the current address.

  3. Note the full address including the domain.

  4. Close the tab. The inbox now persists.

  5. Return to TempMail.pk at any time, enter the same address and password, and access the inbox from any device.

Accessing a Specific Old Inbox Address

If you previously used a password-protected inbox on TempMail.pk, you can access it by entering the username and password in TempMail.pk's custom address field. If the inbox was standard session-based, and that session has ended, the inbox cannot be accessed.

Frequently Asked Questions

The verification email went to my expired temp mail address. What now?

Request a resend of the verification email from the platform. Most platforms allow re-sending verification emails during the same signup session. Make sure TempMail.pk is open with an active address before requesting the resend — it can be the same address if it is still active, or a new one.

Is there a way to see all addresses I have previously used?

No. TempMail.pk does not maintain a log of addresses generated in past sessions. Each session is independent. If recording previously used addresses matters for your workflow, save them manually to a notes app or password manager while the session is still active.
